Sky Broadband in United kingdom first with 100 Gigabit optical network

BSkyB has released one hundred Gigabit optical network for Sky Broadband clients, the very first optical network hitting that speed within the United kingdom.

The network is targeted at permitting clients to quickly download large files, including hi-def videos.
