Ex-Apple leaders join Palm
Palm has hired two former Apple executives to top positions in the organization.
They join the organization with an ex-Disney professional, along with a top dog from Inktomi, based on a CNET story. Palm made the visits inside a proceed to establish itself being an independent company after its IPO (dpo) recently.
Satjiv Chahil became a member of Palm as chief marketing officer earlier this year. He was marketed to president of corporate marketing at Apple in 1996, but his newest job what food was in Newbridge Systems, making networking equipment. Doug Solomon what food was in Apple for fifteen years, but was most lately president of Interval Research. He’s now Palm’s chief strategy officer.
Craig Cottle, Disney’s former senior v . p . of promoting for that broadband TV and Internet programs group, is going to be Palm’s chief operating officer of content and access. William Maggs, former chief network officer at Inktomi, is going to be Palm’s chief technology officer.
