Apple changes .Mac support system

Apple now altered the actual way it runs tech support team because of its subscription-only .Mac suite of internet services.

An email from the organization describes: “Beginning Monday May 3, all .Mac support questions are handled through email”. A hyperlink to Apple’s new email support service for customers is offered, plus a promise that outstanding support demands is going to be resolved.

Technical support for .Mac was once forum-based. The proceed to email support means no new subjects could be produced most of the existing forums.

To obtain help, people must visit a catalog page that guides these to the right support position for their problem, Mail or Homepage, for instance. On individuals pages, customers will discover FAQs and links to more details. They’ll also find new email forms to make use of when the answer is not there.

Apple hasn’t clarified when the support email desks is going to be staffed 24/7, at weekends or during public holidays.
